Payment of Pension through Joint Bank Account.
Recently there has been an instance where the pensioner was confined to bed, was not able to sign and did not have a joint bank account with the authorised family pensioner. On reference to the association, our Gen. Secy. Sh. P.L. Gupta, acted very fast ,searched out the RBI instructions and clarifications, also the HP Govt. Instructions in this regard have been searched out by Sh. P.L.Gupta ji. Which are uploaded for reference and guidance. Unfortunately the Pensioner breathed his last before the joint account could be opened. We should be careful and must insure remission of pension in joint account, our spouse must be acquainted of operation of of this account.
H.P.E.R.C have issued the REGULATIONS FOR PROVIDING THE COST OF TERMINAL BENEFITS OF EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE PENSIONERS, on 31st march,2015, these regulations will be effective from date of notification in HP RAJPATRA.
